We had a lovely stay at this charming historical hotel. The welcoming staff made us feel truly appreciated. The location was perfect, just a short walk from the ferry and downtown. The rooms were beautiful and the breakfast and afternoon snacks were delicious. The extra amenities like beach towels and bikes were a great bonus. a wonderful experience at Jared Coffin House.

Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The ambiance is lovely, with antique furnishings, oil painting and pristinely restored rooms. Location was very convenient.
The hotel could focus a little more on green practices. Bar of soap was discarded by cleaning staff each day....certainly could have been used the next day. No option for using towels a second day. Plastic disposable dishes for the continental breakfast, could be replaced with washable china. Other than that, not much to change.
